How it works

You write to one contact, and we put the trip together: the meeting at the plane, cars, dinners, flights, a house for the whole party. You get the provider’s name and contact details after you confirm; until then, everything goes through us. Every service goes into one proposal, with the deposit and the cancellation terms for each item. If privacy matters, tell us early: we ask providers not to photograph guests or post anything about the booking.

Private chef

A chef cooks dinner or brunch at your villa, your apartment or on a yacht, for a family dinner, a birthday or a business meeting with nobody else around. We suggest a chef with menu options for your guests. Before booking we check sample menus and reviews, every guest’s allergies and diets, what the kitchen has and what the chef must bring, and who serves and clears up. For a dinner on a yacht, we first ask the captain whether food can be cooked or served on board.

Restaurants and private dinners

We book tables that are hard to get at weekends, terrace seats for sunset, a private room or a chef’s table. For a business dinner we look for a quieter place where you can talk. We suggest two or three places for the occasion and budget and reconfirm the table the day before. We also find out the dress code, any deposit or minimum spend and where the car can drop you off.

VIP tables and Carnival boxes

For a club night or a party, we book a VIP table and find out beforehand how many guests it seats, which drinks are included, what costs extra and when to arrive. The car there and back goes into the same proposal.

For Carnival we book camarotes (private boxes) at the Sambadrome and grandstand seats for any parade night, and the proposal confirms what is available on yours. Once a Carnival booking is confirmed, the deposit is not refundable, because the seats and tickets are booked for you. How boxes and grandstands work: Rio Carnival.

Personal shopper and stylist

A personal shopper takes you round the shops with your list and budget. A stylist puts together outfits for the trip or a night out. We check the person’s portfolio and languages, plan a half day or a full day and add a car with a driver if you like. You pay for your purchases yourself, at the store.

Beauty and spa

A professional comes to you for hair, make-up, nails or a massage, or you spend a day at a hotel spa. For a group we bring several professionals so everyone is ready at once. We check portfolios, reviews and whether they bring their own products. We do not arrange medical or cosmetic procedures such as injections, peels or device-based treatments.

Airport meet and assist and VIP lounges

Galeão, Rio’s international airport, sells its own meet and assist service. According to the airport’s website, the basic package covers a greeting on departure or arrival, a priority lane at security screening and an electric cart on the international section. Higher packages add VIP lounge access and a porter, and the top one adds pick-up and drop-off at your car. Business aviation passengers are met and seen off in a private area. The airport lists five VIP lounges, two of them open 24 hours. The service is offered in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Its description does not mention passport control, so we do not promise help there.

We book the service for your flight and line it up with your car to the hotel. Under the airport’s rules, if a flight is more than 90 minutes late, the service depends on staff availability, so if your flight is delayed we agree a fallback right away. For the car, see executive and armored cars.

Private jet and helicopter

In Brazil, a charter flight by plane or helicopter is operated by an air taxi company (táxi aéreo) certified by ANAC, the civil aviation agency, under RBAC 135. ANAC issues the Air Operator Certificate (COA) after checking the company. A private aircraft without that certificate may not take any compensation for a flight, even a share of the fuel cost, and such a flight can be treated as clandestine air transport (TACA).

We book planes and helicopters only with certified air taxi companies, and sightseeing flights only with companies certified for panoramic flights (RBAC 136). Before booking we check that the certificate is valid on the flight date, look up the aircraft in ANAC’s public register (RAB Online) and make sure the operator listed there is the company selling the flight. Flights over the city and transfers to Angra dos Reis, Paraty or Búzios: helicopter flights.

Armored car and licensed security

An armored car with a driver can meet your plane and stay for a day or the whole trip. In Brazil, armoring a vehicle requires Army authorization, requested through the Army’s SICOVAB system, and we check the car’s armoring papers before we confirm. Details: executive and armored cars.

Under Law 14.967/2024, the Private Security Statute, personal security may only be provided by specialized companies with prior authorization from the Federal Police (Polícia Federal). The law bans freelance private security, and anyone who hires security outside the law can be penalized too. We work only with authorized companies and show their terms and price as a separate item in the proposal. This summary of the rules is not legal advice.

Villas with staff

We look for a house or an apartment where a housekeeper, a cook or a driver can come with the rental. On a business trip it also gives you a place for meetings; for the rest of the logistics, see business travel. Options come with photos, the staff included and the owner’s cancellation terms. We check which staff you pay for separately, their working hours, the house rules on guests, music and parties, and whether the photos are recent.

Terms

Our team works from 8:00 to 20:00 Rio time, in English or Portuguese, and you can write at any time. A person replies the same working day, and the proposal arrives within 24 hours. Our fee is already included in the price. The proposal states the deposit, how you pay the balance to the provider and the cancellation terms for each service: transfers and yachts, for example, can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours ahead.

Group bookings start from about 10 people; groups of 50 and more are handled together with a large local receptive partner, and you keep one contact on our team. Terms and payment are set out in the proposal; you pay nothing before you confirm.
